Hello.  I hope you've had time to look thru some of my photos.

This blog is designed to provide tips and tricks and concepts to shooters of all skill levels.

To be a better photographer involves a number of things:

  • always be ready to learn something new
  • challenge yourself on occasion
  • study other photographers' work and learn from it
  • practice good composition concepts
  • understand how your camera works, including its strengths and limitations
    • this will involve reading your camera's manual
  • practice your craft and learn how to improve a bad shot

When is the light?
